Principal

Aaron Goldfield

Aaron Goldfield has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry in New England. First introduced to the trades at the age of 12 on the commercial and residential job sites of the family company under his father’s ownership. With such an early introduction into that business, he was able to experience and learn about every part of the construction process.

Working through the ranks of laborer to carpenters helper, his learning was passed through the lineage of some of Vermont’s finest carpenters and tradesmen. As college at the University of Vermont finished, entering back into the workforce as a lead carpenter, and his supervision and management of crews developed rapidly. It was apparent that there was a high level of skill and interest in the management side of the business. Site supervisor was the next logical progression within the company. As the projects, both residential and commercial, got larger and more complex there was a high need for project management throughout the company’s operations. Aaron rose quickly to that role and created an amazing working environment for all the staff and subcontractors.

With a high level of foresight and anticipation of challenges, from a lifetime of on-the-job training, the company was able to grow into an elite level of construction management. In 2020 the company was restructured into a corporation where Aaron and his brother Steve are the owners and operators. The founder and father Mike Goldfield became the lead estimator and sales executive under the guidance of his two sons as the company was brought into the new age of modern construction.

Mark had a lifetime of experience in the food service world. He studied that trade and became the head chef and kitchen manager of a very high end restaurant in Vermont. As times were changing he was offered a full time position to learn and grow with the thriving construction business at Goldfield Construction. His skills quickly translated and as a person who understands the value of hard work and organization. Mark quickly became a key worker in the operations of the company. Many people who come in contact with him on the job sites reflect back to management that he is “one of the best they’ve ever seen”. With an incredible intuition and high level of foresight he will have a long successful career within the ranks of Goldfield Construction.

Site Supervisor

Nathan Bee

Nathan Bee has been in the trades now for 8 consecutive years with intermittent experience as a laborer in his youth. He’s always had a fascination with how things were assembled, from electronics to wood work. When he was young he would scrounge up the limited resources his father’s work bench had to offer and build his own toys using scrap wood, fasteners and spray paint. This early attention to detail has translated well into his ability to provide quality finish work. In 2015 he started working for, and learning under a skilled finish carpenter who specialized in residential remodeling. This is where he would start to learn many facets of finish work such as drywall finishes, installing kitchen cabinets and vanities, trim work, and even building cabinetry and furniture. He went on to install flooring for a couple years where he learned he had a knack for installing tile which would later lead to him having his own tile business for a short time before being acquired by the Goldfield Construction Management team. His working knowledge of the construction field and hands on quick learning has allowed for a smooth transition into middle management as he has taken on the role of site supervisor.
